Legal Terms
Deposit Policy:

To secure a quote for the desired date of service, a NON-REFUNDABLE 10% deposit is required to confirm the date of service.

Full payment is required to confirm any date of service if the departure date of service is less than 10 days away.

If a reservation is canceled on the day of the trip, there are no refunds.
-
Reservations are to be paid in full 10 days before the service date.

Suppose the remaining balance is not paid in full 10 days before the date of service. In that case, all deposits (including the initial NON-REFUNDABLE 10% deposit and any payments made towards your balance) are NON-REFUNDABLE. Your reservation may be canceled at the company’s discretion due to failure to pay the remaining balance by the due date.

Upon payment, the customer and chartering group acknowledges that all legal terms will be followed, whether payment has been made online, over the phone, or in person.
Cancellation Policy:
-
The cancellation penalty will be the NON-REFUNDABLE 10% deposit amount of the charter cost if the charter is canceled within 10 days of the departure date.

The cancellation penalty for charters booked within 10 days of the departure date, will be the total cost of the trip.

The cancellation penalty for charters canceled on the day of the trip will result in full charge of the total charter (no refunds), at the company's discretion.
Payment Methods and Processing Fees Policy:

Payment via Credit Card or Debit Card: Payments are made via a secure online portal or over the phone. A card authorization form will be sent via eSign at the company’s discretion for incidentals. (All payments incur a 4% processing fee)

Payment via ACH Collections: An ACH authorization form will be sent via eSign. (No processing fee)

Payment via Zelle: Send all payments using our email address: info@hopinbusservice.com. (No processing fee)
Credit Card / Debit Card Refund Policy:

Processing fees are not refunded for credit card and debit card refunds. Therefore, if a refund is granted by the company, the refund amount will not include the 4% processing fee.
Charge-Backs or Unauthorized Purchases/Transactions policy:

Upon payment, the customer acknowledges that Charge-Backs or Unauthorized Purchases/Transactions initiated via their bank or creditor should be recognized as an attempt to fraudulently keep the above amount paid to the company while receiving reimbursement for the service provided.

Any unauthorized chargebacks are fraudulent and will be resolved through the company payment processing firm dispute center in fairness to both Hop In Bus Service LLC, and the customer.
Credit Card or Debit Card Authorization and ACH Authorization Form Policy:

Either a credit card or debit card or ACH authorization may be required for certain charter requests at the company’s discretion. All credit card or debit card authorization or ACH authorization forms must be signed electronically or in person before the service date or given to a company agent over the phone for incidentals.
Gratuity Policy:

Gratuity (Tip) is not included in the base fare.

It is customary to tip the driver 10% - 20% of the total cost of the charter.

Gratuity can or will be billed into the price quote and labeled “Gratuity” at the company’s discretion.

It is customary to tip the driver at the start of the trip to insure service.
Overtime Policy:
-
Overtime pay will apply after the first 15 mins of the prearranged time provided by the passenger. The company is not responsible for the delay of a vehicle or the termination of a reservation, in winter, caused by unsafe road conditions (ie. not salted, accidents, etc.). If balances are being paid to the driver, on the day of the transfer, they must be paid before the beginning of the transfer. Additional overtime hours must be paid to the driver or the company before the charter goes overtime.
Alcohol, Smoking, Drug Use, and Illegal Activity Policy:

Drug use is not permitted by law in all vehicles.

Smoking is not permitted by law in all vehicles.

Alcohol consumption is permitted in vehicles labeled "Limousine” or "Sprinter".

Alcohol consumption can be permitted on Motor Coach Buses or Charter Buses if all passengers are over the age of 21 or older, at the company's discretion.

Alcohol must be stored in the luggage compartment on Motor Coach Buses or Charter Buses.

Any illegal activity performed on the vehicle will automatically terminate the agreed contract. THERE WILL BE NO REFUND OF PAYMENT in this case and the local authority will be called at the time of the incident.
Weather Warnings and Advisories Policy:

Hop In Bus Service LLC at its discretion reserves the right to charge the established hourly rate plus gratuity and fees if the local weather service declares either a weather warning or advisory. The charges will commence once the vehicle leaves the garage until it returns.

Hop In Bus Service LLC shall not be liable for circumstances beyond its control including but not limited to weather, road conditions, and mechanical breakdowns.
Personal Belonging Policy:

The driver will not be required to handle any luggage or items being stored in the luggage department of the vehicle. The customers are responsible for managing their luggage or items in and out of the luggage departure due to driver safety from unforeseen injuries and for insurance purposes for the company.

All coolers must be stored underneath the bus in the luggage department and not on the seats due to our vehicle’s interior design and seat material.

The company is not responsible for items left on any vehicle. Please be sure to collect all items.

Hop In Bus Service LLC assumes no responsibility for lost or damaged baggage, personal belongings, or any items left in the vehicle.
Cleanup and Damage Policy:

The customer is responsible for cleaning and equipment damage caused by the transported group.
-
The customer, or any members of their party, assumes entire financial liability for any damage caused to the vehicle(s) during the rental period.

The cleanup fee starts at $250. The damage fee will be determined and the customer will then be billed the quoted price in full.
Driver and Vehicle Lodging Policy:

Parking fees are to be paid by the customer.
-
The driver's lodging (hotel room) is to be paid for by the customer. Each driver requires their own lodging (hotel room).

The driver is not required to leave the vehicle at an amusement park or property after the passengers have exited the vehicle at their charter destination unless otherwise specified. It is the driver's choice where the vehicle is stored during Off-Duty status.
Additional Surcharge Policy:

If necessary, after your trip, if there are any changes in price because of tolls, parking, damages, or time and mileage overages (yawn, traffic, and flight delays), we may notify you and offer payment options or we’ll charge your previously authorized card or ACH payment again for those costs.

Any added stops, destinations, or transfer requests are subject to additional fees starting at $75.
Additional Policies:

All quotes are subject to change without notice or reasoning due to volatile market conditions.

The customer is responsible for obtaining permits to enter parks or municipalities.
-
Any fines will be paid for by the customer.
-
Pets or animals are not allowed in any vehicle.
-
The driver has the right to terminate service without a refund if there is blatant indiscretion on the part of the client or chartering group.
-
Vehicles cannot be loaded beyond seating capacity.
-
We cannot guarantee the request of a specific driver.
-
This company reserves the right to lease or charter buses from other companies to fulfill any charter booked with Hop In Bus Service LLC.

Due to the unpredictability of the fuel market, a 5% or 10% fuel surcharge may be added.

Arrival times on any price quote, reservation, or invoice are the estimated time of arrival. Traffic or unseen conditions are not calculated in arrival times.

The cost illustrated in the price quote may change due to your actual itinerary.
